Have you always wanted to explore your creativity but weren't sure where to start?
This course is your first step into the Building Confidence Through Creativity journey, where simple, uplifting painting exercises help you grow your skills and creative confidence. With acrylics as your main medium, you'll explore colour, light, and expressive techniques, discovering how painting can bring calm, clarity, and a stronger connection to your own artistic voice. You'll learn step-by-step in a friendly, supportive environment, experimenting with texture, atmosphere, and composition.
This beginner course is designed to help you build confidence through creativity in a relaxed and supportive environment. With gentle guidance through simple techniques, you'll learn to work with acrylic paints and pens, and explore colour mixing, brushwork, and simple compositions - no experience necessary!
Painting is a wonderful way to improve your wellbeing, reduce stress, and discover your creative potential. This course focuses on building your confidence and helping you feel more comfortable with creative self-expression without judgement.

This course is suitable if you're a beginner and want to learn about this subject, and you don't have relevant knowledge or experience.
What will I need to bring?
All essential materials will be provided, and if you prefer, you're welcome to bring your own canvas to paint on. Please also bring photo ID with you e.g. passport or driving licence.
Will I be assessed?
There is no formal assessment for this course. Your tutor will provide feedback to help you improve.
