Description

Build your confidence and enhance your awareness of your body as you prepare for childbirth with Perinatal Yoga. Learn to foster a positive mindset through stress-reduction techniques, mindfulness, and a supportive community environment.

This course is a gentle and nurturing introduction to yoga for pregnancy, designed to help you connect with your changing body and prepare for birth.

You'll learn simple, safe movements and breathing exercises that support you through your pregnancy.

This course is for anyone who is 12 weeks pregnant or more and looking for a way to stay active, manage discomfort, and feel more connected to their body and baby. It's a great way for you to prepare physically and mentally for labour and birth.

Throughout the course, you'll learn:
- Basic, safe yoga poses and stretches to build strength and flexibility.
- Meaningful breathing techniques to calm the mind and manage pain during labour.
- Internal muscle work to support your pelvic floor and core strength.

This is a beginner-friendly course that moves at a gentle pace. Each session is a guided practice focusing on comfort, safety, and conscious movement.

What are the entry requirements for this course?
This course is suitable if you're a beginner and want to learn about this subject, and you don't have relevant knowledge or experience.

What will I need to bring?
Please bring a Yoga mat and a bottle of water. Please also bring photo ID with you e.g. passport or driving licence.

Will I be assessed?
There is no formal assessment for this course. Your tutor will provide feedback to help you improve.
